Broken Dock
Bar-Restaurant

With a picturesque location overlooking a beautiful corner of the Floating Harbour and Brunel’s SS Great Britain, Broken Dock is full of surprises. Even the ambient lighting and contemporary decor couldn’t prepare us for how special our visit would be. With a glass of fizz in hand my partner and I shared starters of blue cheese croquettes with homemade dips, and sourdough topped with roasted goat’s cheese, minted peas, green beans and honey before moving on to beautifully presented mains. My pork belly was simply outstanding – enhanced by crackling, apple purée, Parmentier potatoes, and veal and red wine gravy. My partner’s Ruby & White rump steak was packed with smoky flavour and expertly seasoned. We finished with the delectable cheesecake of the week and vowed to return for the award-winning Sunday roast. Manager Jem took care to ensure our meal was perfect from start to finish; it’s the warm, friendly hospitality that really sets Broken Dock apart.
