Certainly more than just olives, The Olive Shed is a rustic Mediterranean restaurant, situated off the beaten track, on the waterfront of Bristol's Harbourside. This is a big favorite in Bristol, with wonderful views over the river, located in between the SS Great Britain and Bristol's Industrial Museum. Throughout the summer months, customers sit outside and enjoy a mouth-watering selection of tapas, salads, fresh seafood and meat dishes. Specialities include the likes of Moroccan-spiced tagine with cous cous and seasoned yoghurt, and grilled butterfly sardines coated in a preserved lemon, fresh herb and pine nut crust. Coffee and handmade cakes are available throughout the day, and you can watch the sun go down with a bowl of olives, some homemade organic bread and a glass of fine organic wine. In the winter The Olive Shed becomes a more intimate venue, radiating a cosy, candlelit atmosphere. A unique place to dine, The Olive Shed offers spectacular views from within the open glass-fronted restaurant overlooking the twinkling lights of Bristol harbour. The Olive Shed is an ideal place to enjoy a healthy lunch or a fine evening meal. They are committed to offering thoughtfully-sourced food, incorporating local and organic produce wherever possible. At The Olive Shed you will enjoy top quality food with excellent service in a stunning location. You can even pick up one of their fabulous picnic hampers and take the hassle out of a day out. So whatever you're looking for, The Olive Shed fits the bill.
