We shared the moreish chicken hot rock skewers to start, and both couldn't resist ordering a hearty steak for mains - I had the tender sirloin, while my companion had a succulent fillet steak, both of which came with generous portions of hand-cut chunky chips and vegetables. If, like me, you have a sweet tooth, you'll love Verve's selection of desserts; I had the heavenly profiteroles, smothered in a gorgeous chocolate sauce, and my partner chose the indulgent cheesecake.
