Since opening in 2015, Crabshack has quickly become a favourite in the seaside town of Worthing. This cosy restaurant and bar is nestled right on the beach and showcases fresh, locally sourced seafood in simple yet flavoursome dishes. Renowned for its customer service, Crabshack has been awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence and provides a child- and dog-friendly environment in which to relax and dine.

The menu changes with the seasons, but there’s always a great range of classic seafood dishes on offer, as well as some more creative choices. The dressed crab served with multigrain bread and fries is a consistent favourite. Only the best mussels from Fowey in Cornwall are used to make the ever-so-popular moules marinières, which is deliciously creamy and rich. If you’re stopping by with a partner, why not share Crabshack’s fish plate? This generous plate comprises smoked salmon, dressed crab, fritto misto, prawn cocktail and crabcake balls. Alternatively, the crispy shrimp and cockle popcorn, accompanied by a zesty lemon mayonnaise, is popular with diners of all ages and the Sicilian-inspired fish stew is second to none. A great range of beer, wine and spirits is available to accompany your meal.

As well as delectable mains, sharers and light bites, Crabshack also offers a regularly changing selection of desserts. Children will be especially pleased by the range of Marshfield ice cream that’s available from the outdoor ice cream shack. CrabShack is also child- and dog-friendly until 7pm. Only three dogs can be in the restaurant at one time, please inform the staff in advance.
