Tante Marie School of Cookery is the UK's oldest independent cookery school. Founded in Woking in 1954, the school is now owned by Gordon Ramsay, together with Lyndy Redding from leading caterer and events designers Absolute Taste (part of the McLaren group) and Andrew Maxwell, the school's principal.

Courses range from the school's famous two-day Christmas entertaining course, which will leave you with a selection of food to stock up the freezer over the Christmas period, to its brilliant one day 'men only' course - a gift voucher for this is the ideal Christmas or birthday present for the man in your life. The school also runs a series of half or full demonstration days, where you can simply sit back and watch a demonstration by the school's inspiring teaching staff, or by some of the industry's leading chefs. This also gives you the chance to ask questions, pick up tips from the pros and take away some amazing recipes.

Tante Marie also runs a range of internationally acclaimed professional Cordon Bleu courses, which are increasingly popular with school-leavers and career-changers. In addition to these, the school puts on a selection of incredible one and two-day courses for those who simply enjoy cooking at home, and want to learn from the professionals.

With such a diverse range of courses, Tante Marie really does have something for everyone.
