Loch Fyne - Ascot
British

Located in an attractive former pub in Woodside, Loch Fyne is the perfect place to stop off after a day at the races, a game of golf or a trip to Windsor Great Park. At the weekend, you could even call in on your way out as the restaurant offers a fabulous range of hearty breakfasts. Choose from everything from proper porridge to the full breakfast. There’s also a seafood-lover’s version of the classic breakfast with smoked haddock and smoked salmon, but my vote would go to the haggis tattie scones with a poached egg and wilted spinach.
The brand new main menu features delicious and exciting starters such as sea bass and scallop ceviche, and sumptuous seafood mains like seafood ramen. A choice of fi sh is available from the fi sh bar and can be served pan-fried, steamed or grilled with one of several sauces and two vegetable side dishes. It isn’t all about fi sh, though. Haggis and Cheddar spring rolls make for a great starter for meat-eaters and can be followed by juicy burgers and steaks, while the avocado super salad and chicory tart with crispy blue cheese are tasty choices for vegetarians.
Loch Fyne – Ascot offers a wonderful-value, ever-changing set menu, and the conservatory area can be hired for private parties of up to 20.
