The Grenfell Arms
The Grenfell Arms is a pub full of charm. The whole place has a warm welcome, and the friendly staff and open spaces put you at ease as soon as you walk through the door. It feels like somewhere you just want to be.
Upon arrival the first thing you will notice is the well-stocked bar, which has an extensive range of gin as well as fabulous cask ale, craft beer and exceptional cocktails, the variety of which is sure to impress. The care the bar team takes in making a simple G&T or pulling a tasty pint is evident – this team doesn’t just throw drinks at people, real care and attention to detail is given to every tipple.
The Grenfell Arms also has a big, welcoming outdoor seating area, which most certainly has a Riviera feel to it. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a few pints with friends or a bottle of Prosecco in the warmer months.
Once seated in the beautiful dining room, take time to peruse the diverse menu, as you’ll find a mix of pub classics as well as eclectic dishes showcasing flavours from around the world. All diets are well catered for here, with great vegetarian and even vegan offerings alongside the likes of steak and kidney suet pudding and even Sri Lankan curry; the choice is great. I would highly recommend the baked Camembert with red onion marmalade and ciabatta croutons. Make sure you save room for dessert; the salted caramel affogato is a must-have for anyone who has a sweet-tooth.
After you’ve finished your spectacular meal, why not extend your stay at The Grenfell Arms? All eight rooms have been recently refurbished and come with high-definition smart screen TVs and comfy beds to ensure you have the most relaxing stay possible. We can assure you once you’ve paid a visit to The Grenfell Arms you’ll find yourself wanting to return with friends and loved ones time and time again.
