Henley Road, Hurley, Maidenhead, SL6 5LH
The Red Lyon is a privately owned dining pub, benefitting from a chef-owner who has years of experience producing both traditional and modern British cuisine. Local sourcing is a priority at the Red Lyon and you can be assured the food is not only top quality, but also affordable. Expect game from the local woods, trout from nearby lakes, beef and lamb from Waltham Place Farm and a whole host of vegetables, including those grown in the Red Lyon's own garden. The garden itself is huge and every table is surrounded by flowers and plants, providing a peaceful setting for your pub lunch. The meadow next to the garden gives those with children the chance of a break whilst the kids run off their lunch in a safe, enclosed area.

Drinks are not neglected either, with an exclusive range of wines, a selection of local ales and a well-stocked bar at very competitive prices for the area. Recently awarded an AA rosette for its culinary standards, the Red Lyon accommodates all with a selection of snacks, deli boards, regularly changing specials and homemade desserts. A different event every month means a visit to their website is a must to keep up with everything they have to offer.
