Mention award-winning Porterhouse Steakhouse to locals, and everyone will tell you it’s the best restaurant to go to for lip-smacking steak. When we stepped through the doors, we were soon welcomed into the tasteful surrounds by our attentive host. We kicked off our meal with grilled jumbo tiger prawns and a fresh Greek salad topped with feta. Then came the real reason for visiting The Porterhouse: the steak. All beef is grass-fed and naturally reared, and both my wife’s well-done sirloin and my medium-rare rib-eye steak had all the flavour and texture we had wished for. To round off our wonderful visit, we concluded with delicious homemade desserts. My Bailey’s cheesecake was delightfully smooth and creamy, while my partner’s chocolate brownie was gooey – just as it should be. The Porterhouse philosophy is serving fantastic simple food at affordable prices, and it’s clear this really works.
