The Pavilion Tearoom

0.5 miles
Stansted Park, Rowland's Castle, PO9 6DX

Hidden within 1800 acres of ancient woodland on the Hampshire and West Sussex border, Stansted Park, with its stunning stately home and forest, is a wonderful setting for family and friends to gather. In the heart of The Walled Garden is a beautifully restored Victorian glass house, which now houses The Pavilion Tearoom and Vine House.

The Pavilion Tearoom and Vine House, which are cleverly linked together, both enjoy a wonderful outlook over The Walled Garden, while the Lloyd Loom tables and chairs create a sense of timeless elegance. You’ll also find fresh seasonal flowers on every table. Whether you take a seat in the light and airy Pavilion or in the lovely garden sheltered by its high brick walls, you’re sure to feel comfortable and relaxed.

The tearoom is licensed and open from 9am daily throughout the year, serving freshly ground coffee, homemade light lunches and a selection of delicious cakes. If you arrive early, you will be tempted by the fresh cheese and fruit scones still warm from the oven. The Pavilion also offers a traditional afternoon tea brought to you on an elegant three-tiered cake stand – perfect for a special occasion. Afternoon tea is served at 3.15pm and 3.30pm and must be booked in advance.

The Pavilion is proud to support local suppliers including Westbourne Bakery, Starrs Butchers of Emsworth, Solent Fish, Judes Ice Cream and Forest of Bere Dairy. Visit the website to find out about daily specials and upcoming events. The Pavilion’s award-winning sister café, Driftwood Café in Emsworth, is also open daily.
