The Swan Inn

0.5 miles
4 Shipton Road, Ascott-under-Wychwood, OX7 6AY

After being lovingly restored by owners Charlie and Willow Crossley at the beginning of 2017, The Swan Inn has retained all of its stunning historical characteristics. The elegantly designed interior throughout the restaurant and bedrooms is thanks to individual designers who each decorated a bespoke room. Each room is quirky and unique, making The Swan Inn the perfect place to stay for a weekend away in the beautiful countryside. This is the sister pub to The Bull Inn in Charlbury and the owners have brought their excellent service to Ascott-under-Whychwood at this new venture.

Not only is the building beautiful, but the delicious authentic Italian cuisine on offer is heavenly − you’ll find stone-baked pizzas, traditional pasta dishes and summery salads, as well as a hearty Sunday lunch. This countryside eatery ticks every box. A stylish interior, tasty food and a fantastic selection of ale, lager and wine complete this stellar offering. The Swan Inn is also familyfriendly and dogs are welcome, so why not add this lovely eatery to your list of must-visit places in the Cotswolds? Enjoy one of the many walks surrounding The Swan Inn before popping in for a leisurely drink on the outside suntrap terrace, or stay the night in one of the luxury bedrooms and spend a couple of days soaking up everything The Swan Inn has to offer.
