The Tally Ho is located along the A338, just half a mile south of the M4 off junction 14. There has been a pub on the site for centuries, but it was closed and sold in 2012. Happily, the community bought it back from developers and undertook a major refurbishment, leading to the reopening of the pub in its current, charming form. This delightful country pub has glorious hanging baskets and a lovely patio to sit in during the summer, a cosy fire in the winter and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at any time of year. Good local beer, delicious wines and tasty locally sourced food can be enjoyed at the bar, in the restaurant and on the patio. There is always a cordial welcome for locals, passers-by, families, business people, cyclists, walkers, drinkers and guests with dogs.
