Bath Road, Padworth, Reading, RG7 5HT
Set in the heart of Royal Berkshire the Courtyard by Marriott hotel and restaurant is ideally located for access to Reading and junction 12 of the M4. The light and airy Padworth Restaurant overlooks a beautiful walled garden. There is a mini gym, function rooms licensed for marriage ceremonies available for hire and ample free parking available to guests.

The reception area and restaurant are spacious and welcoming and there is a bar to enjoy a quiet drink before eating. The starters include dishes such as goat's cheese with bacon and rocket or duck and apricot terrine with ciabatta and caramelised red onion chutney.

The main menu is mostly traditional English with some European specialities. There is also a grill menu that serves a selection of steaks served with beef tomato, flat mushroom and sautéed potatoes. I also strongly recommend their home-made peppercorn sauce which is bursting with flavour and is one of the finest I have ever tasted.

In addition to the main menu the restaurant and bar offers a selection of light meals in addition to the famous Courtyard breakfast.

A dessert menu, boasting such dishes as home-made fruit crumble or brandy snaps filled with fresh fruit, along with an extensive wine list complement the excellent food menu.

Whether you're looking for somewhere to stay if travelling to Reading on business or just after excellent food and service in a relaxed atmosphere I strongly recommend giving the Courtyard by Marriott a try.
