Privately owned until the late 1920s, this stunning venue is now home to a traditional pub with stylish interiors and a glorious food offering to match.
The Middle House has an intimate and cosy ambience thanks to its ornate carved wood fireplace and charming original features. The menu showcases an array of traditional classics alongside innovative dishes executed with modern flair. The team supports local producers, and much of the menu comprises fresh, locally sourced, seasonal produce – particular highlights include the 28-day-matured Mayfield rib-eye and fillet steaks. Other delights include mixed herb gnocchi served with asparagus and baba ganoush purée, baked stone bass, Cranesden Farm pork sausages, and hearty chicken and leek pie with all the trimmings.
