The food is also in good hands, the menu offering delicious, comforting modern and classic dishes, expertly prepared by Roger Clarke (former head chef at Lythe Hill in Haslemere) and Mike Smollett, a former butcher and newly qualified chef from Farnborough College. Ingredients are sourced from the best suppliers, including a long-established London-based butcher who buys high-quality beef from Smithfield Market in London. Fresh fish is sourced from Brixham in Devon and fresh fruit and vegetables are bought locally.
The restaurant boasts an extensive wine list offering quality wine and Champagne, together with some very good ales and beers, such as Timothy Taylor, Ringwood Best and Young's Ordinary Bitter.
Since the present owner has taken over, The Bull Inn has become a firm favourite with locals and visitors to the area - and it's not hard to see why. The warmest of welcomes awaits you at this charming little pub.
