Open since November 2018, Yiayias at The Fox offers authentic Greek food alongside a range of complementary drinks in a cosy, pub-style setting.
The informal but stylish bar is the perfect place in which to enjoy a freshly brewed morning coffee, and a great spot for drinks with friends of an evening – there’s a range of wine, spirits, mixers and beer available, including Cypriot Keo lager. Upstairs, you’ll find an inviting dining space that’s full of character and charm, and next door there’s a private dining room and snug – ideal for celebratory meals, meetings and events.
The menu is inspired by the founders’ grandmother’s hearty Greek cooking, and if you fancy sampling a few different plates, the meze selection is the perfect place to start. From crunchy grilled asparagus with balsamic vinegar to stuffed peppers, there’s plenty to choose from for vegetarian diners, while seafood-lovers rave about the tender swordfish souvlaki. The charcoal grill also produces mouth-watering plates such as succulent lamb chops and spicy pastourma.
For those craving a heartier meal, generous mains like rich moussaka and perfectly seasonal kefte kebabs are a great choice. On warm days, food can also be enjoyed outside in the landscaped garden, or under one of the secluded cabanas.
