The Snail at Stone Street

0.5 miles
Stone Street, Seal, Sevenoaks, TN15 0LT
Situated in the small hamlet of Stone Street, with views of idyllic Kentish apple orchards, The Snail at Stone Street is a beautiful Kentish, part rag-stone building dating back to the 17th Century. Gareth Davies is in his 14th year as head chef at The Snail and, along with his team of very capable staff, has created a reputation to be envied.

The fantastic modern European menu displays a firm focus on local ingredients. Fresh fish is delivered daily, with swordfish, salmon and sea bream, cod, crab and fresh Scottish mussels all finding their way onto the menu. Meat is sourced from an award-winning local butcher just two miles away in Seal village - expect to enjoy locally reared sirloin steaks, duck breasts, local free-range chicken and fine calf's liver. And, as you would expect with such wonderful local produce to be found all around, the Sunday roast is a reason alone to visit The Snail at Stone Street. To accompany your meal there's an excellent selection of wines, as well as Continental lagers, local juices and local ales from Westerham Brewery.

The Snail at Stone Street boasts a beautifully maintained garden for those sunnier months, as well as a warm interior complete with log fires and cosy corners - perfect for enjoying some of the finest local produce Kent has to offer.
