Three Cups Inn
Pubs and Bars with Restaurants
Housed in a 14th century timber-framed building, the decor of The Three Cups Inn is evocative with wooden-beamed ceilings, stone floors, high backed oak chairs and hand-crafted tables arranged in a collection of cosy snug-like rooms. The modern European a la carte menu, the lunch menu and supper board offer fantastic choice with something for all tastes and appetites. The a la carte menu features a mixture of the modern and traditional, and could include terrine of foie gras with sweet red onion marmalade or warm wild mushroom and Parma ham salad dressed with truffle oil. Mains could include saddle of rabbit roasted in fresh rosemary or pan-roasted pigeon breast wrapped in blanched lettuce leaves and stuffed with vegetable and fresh herb risotto. Irresistible desserts might include hot chocolate fondant or home-made berry crumbles.
The lunch and supper menus represent excellent value for money. These menus change regularly, showcasing the best in local seasonal produce.
In warmer months diners can spill out onto the stunning riverside terrace garden. The Three Cups is rapidly building a reputation amongst those in the know for smiling service, cosy atmosphere and delicious locally sourced cuisine.
