The Three Mariners
The long-established Three Mariners continues to go from strength to strength, with a consistently warm welcome. Nestled near Oare Creek, close to the quaint market town of Faversham, this stylish restaurant offers a range of quality contemporary dishes, promising all who visit a wonderful dining experience. New for 2018, the garden terrace overlooking the creek has been extended and now features a garden bar.
The Three Mariners’ impressive menu focuses on sourcing high-quality produce from local suppliers and the team creates classic ingredient-focused dishes. Delectable starters include white crab salad served with sorrel crème fraîche and unique paprika honeycomb, and cauliflower panna cotta with rich blue cheese, chestnut, watercress and balsamic reduction. Mains delight with fresh, vibrant flavours showcased in the likes of hand-rolled gnocchi on a bed of purple sprouting broccoli, goat’s curd and sweet pickled onions, and rump of Romney Marsh lamb, peas and pine nuts with creamy goat’s cheese mash and mint pesto. Stop by on a Friday and you’ll discover The Three Mariners’ special fish and fizz menu offering a complimentary glass of bubbly when ordering fish from the specials board. Take your pick from herb-crusted whole plaice, lightly battered skate fillets and decadent Gruyère-glazed crab cannelloni in a shellfish bisque among many others.
The restaurant also boasts a range of enticing desserts. To finish your meal in style, choose from mango and vanilla cheesecake with tropical salad or the gooey made-to-order peanut butter chocolate fondant.
