The story of Steak of the Art is a tale of passion and dedication to great food. For the team behind these amazing venues, sourcing the best ingredients is a real labour of love. They have sampled some of the best produce in the West Country in order to deliver a unique dining experience. Art is part of this restaurant – it’s in its exhibitions, its performances, in the very walls and booths of the venue. 

When it comes to food, steak, in all its forms, is star of the show. Steak is taken seriously here and served carefully yet with fl air. After searching far and wide to discover the best suppliers, these guys champion beef from Warson Beef Farm and use master butcher Philip Warrens in Cornwall. Steak of the Art’s suppliers care as much about beef as the team do, and that ensures that everything on the menu meets exacting standards of welfare and taste. So when you dive into that juicy chargrilled steak, perhaps smothered in creamy porcini and tarragon sauce, you know that it has been sourced from field to fork. If the pan-fried sea bream or deep-fried whole sea bass has caught you’re eye, you’ll be pleased to know that this too is sustainably sourced and fresh to your plate that day from Cornish fishing company, Fish for Thought. On the menu, you’ll also find small plates, children’s dishes and fi ne, hearty Sunday roasts. Steak of the Art is certainly somewhere to bring your appetite.
