South Western House, Terminus Terrace, Southampton, SO14 3AS

The Grand Café is located in the former Wedgewood Ballroom of the old South Western Hotel, a venue that’s steeped in history. It was here that the Titanic’s first-class passengers spent their last night before embarking on their ill-fated passage. Today, the beautiful main restaurant, spacious bistro and large informal bar make the Grand Café the perfect venue for light lunches, afternoon teas, early dinners, wonderful suppers and gathering with friends for drinks.

Visitors to the Grand Café can enjoy a wide selection of seasonal menus, inspired by its unique combination of classic and modern cuisine. Lunchtime guests can enjoy two courses from just £14.50 every weekday from noon until 5pm. For those looking to celebrate a special occasion, the traditional afternoon tea is the perfect way to enjoy an afternoon with friends and family. It’s available from 2.30pm until 5pm every day and bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance due to demand.

The Grand Café’s à la carte and Sunday lunch menus offer a wide array of beautifully crafted dishes to choose from. The Grand Café has a jam-packed events schedule throughout the year with live entertainment, music, murder mystery evenings, interactive cinema screenings and holiday celebrations; visit their website for upcoming events.
