Set in the village of Toot Baldon, The Mole Inn boasts a beautiful rural location, complete with its own stunning gardens. On a warm summer’s day, be sure to ask for a seat under the gazebo or in the pub’s elegant conservatory. The chefs always try to use locally and responsibly sourced produce: the lamb is from Oxfordshire, the pork and chicken are free-range and game and venison are sourced from nearby estates. Starters are a great way to whet your appetite, and the deep-fried calamari accompanied by lime aioli and rocket is bound to do just that, while the Thai spiced fishcakes are equally mouth-watering. For your main, try one of the flavourful dry-aged steaks cooked perfectly to your liking. If you fancy trying something different, opt for the guinea fowl supreme. Diners visiting on Sundays will also be treated to a special Sunday lunch menu and children are given their own dedicated menu.
