Their aim is to source the best produce available locally and prepare memorable dishes without the fuss, letting the quality of the produce shine through. Orwells caters for everyone with an à la carte menu that promotes produce that’s guaranteed to excite all palates. Bespoke dishes range from fresh Brixham crab served with smoked avocado and grapefruit, to beef and lobster served with foraged herbs, and muntjac venison with fungi, beetroot, bone marrow and hazelnut. Every dish is expertly designed to ensure that the chosen ingredients are celebrated to their full potential. To receive the full Orwells experience, sample the indulgent tasting menu and explore the chefs cooking at its best. Orwells equally prides itself with its fantastic drinks offerings, and there’s plenty to entice, with over 50 gins and some great wine to choose from. Visit Wednesday to Saturday to enjoy the daily changing set lunch menu – this fantastic offering is priced at £20 for two courses and £25 for three. Also available is an evening menu, served on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and a set Sunday lunch that is popular with families and couples alike. Weather permitting, guests can soak up the countryside views in the sunlit garden, or feel snug next to the log fire in the cosy restaurant during the winter.
