The New Inn
Everything about The New Inn at Kidmore End entices diners to linger just a little bit longer. From the expertly cooked traditional British fare and broad selection of Brakspear tipples, to the luxuriously appointed countryside accommodation and matching bucolic setting, guests rarely make just one visit here. Inside the light and airy restaurant old blends with new, with period architectural features overlaid with modern fabrics and textures, and comfortable furnishings.
The menus showcase the best of Britain. Every effort has been made to source produce as locally as possible, and the kitchen team uses these ingredients with skill and precision. To start, you might share a whole Camembert baked with roasted garlic and rosemary and accompanied by warm bread. Main dishes comprise the likes of calf’s liver with black pudding mash and red wine jus, and pan-seared stone bass with sundried tomato polenta. There is also a selection of pub favourites such as Brakspear beer-battered haddock with minted peas, tartare sauce and chunky chips.
Planning a stay in the region? Each of The New Inn’s six beautifully appointed en-suite rooms has been finished to an impeccable standard with plenty of contemporary comforts. The New Inn is the perfect home away from home.
