Indian and South Asian
Situated just a stone's throw away from the picturesque village of Iffl ey, Café Spice brings a perfect blend of Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine to Rose Hill, Oxford. Featuring a comprehensive menu of both house specialities and old favourites, there is something for everyone in this clean, well-presented restaurant. The friendly staff are rightly proud of their recent top hygiene score of five and favourable feature in the Oxford Mail, and were happy to advise on which dishes would complement each other best. Our meal for two included a fl avourful tandoori duck and crisp onion bhaji appetisers. This was followed by a generous serving of makhan chicken - which looked just as good as it tasted - and moderately spicy lamb rogan josh, accompanied by peshwari naan and pilau rice and two delicious mango lassi. In this intimately designed restaurant, a relaxed and pleasant evening is guaranteed.
