Ideally situated just a few minutes' walk from Bletchley's town centre - next to the Princes Way roundabout, near the leisure centre - this busy tavern is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy some quality food and drink. Enigma Tavern's long bar serves a full range of all your favourite tipples, including a good choice of lager, bitter and real ales. Food is served in a raised dining area, which features an impressive fireplace provoking thoughts of cosy winter evenings and is separated from the bar by a wrought iron balustrade. There is a lovely outside area too, perfect for warmer days.

The selection of starters includes traditional delights like garlic bread, cheesy chips and stuffed Yorkshire pudding, which can be followed by tastes from around the world such as Mexican nachos, Indian tikka massala or Thai green curry - the latter is pleasantly mild and served with freshly cooked rice, green and red peppers, aubergine, bamboo shoots, tender chicken pieces and peas. Popular choices from the à la carte menu include chicken and gammon pie cooked with cider and steak and ale pie (both served with either chunky chips or mash and peas), or perhaps a hearty 8oz rump steak with tomato and mushrooms will take your fancy. Vegetarians can tuck into dishes such as broccoli bake, prepared with leeks and cauliflower in a cheese sauce. For dessert, indulge in a fresh homemade apple pie with cream, or a Belgian waffle served hot and topped with a peppermint ice cream.

On Fridays and Saturdays this pub is open until 2am, with karaoke nights and other parties taking place regularly.
