The weekday à la carte offering might include starters such as bresaola beef with Parma ham, olives, rocket and Parmesan salad, or seared scallops with chorizo and crab risotto. The ever-changing Sunday selection can consist of a duck liver and bacon salad starter, followed by roast rib-eye of beef with a Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes in red wine gravy, with a mocha brownie sundae to finish. As well as various vegetarian options, there's also an Oriental buffet selection and a vegetable platter to choose from; plus a comprehensive list of tempting red, white and rosé wines to complement your meal. If you're here for a special event, the Brasserie's Spectre Room offers private dining for 20 to 45 guests. Throughout June to mid September, the use of an adjoining marquee enables catering for groups of up to 80 people.
