Pubs and Bars with Restaurants

0.5 miles
Lower Rainham Road, Gillingham, ME7 2YD
Despite what might spring to mind when you see the date 1066, The Hastings Arms is set firmly in the present. This friendly public house boasts all of the modern facilities you would expect to find - a digital music player and wide-screen televisions with Sky Sports - as well as darts and a pool table.

Freshly prepared pub fare is served every day of the week - all cooked to order and lovingly prepared. The ample menu features a host of home-cooked food - there are starters, mains, burgers, steaks and vegetarian dishes aplenty. The steak, mushroom and stout pie is worth the visit alone, as is the Shropshire blue and quince chutney tart; those with a smaller appetite should sneak a peek at the snacks menu, which offers baguettes, sandwiches and ploughman's.

The function room is available to hire seven days a week, with capacity for up to 120 people - ideal for whatever celebration you have in mind. This multi-purpose room is also used every Sunday for the traditional Sunday carvery, with three succulent meats on offer as well as a choice of vegetables. Don't forget to check the website for upcoming events - whether you want to listen to some live music or have a go yourself (karaoke kicks off at 8pm on a Sunday) you're sure to find something to entertain you at The Hastings Arms.
