From the moment we stepped into this welcoming restaurant my companion and I felt right at home. Buenos Aires in Maidstone was bustling with cheery customers, and the restaurant's layout meant we could enjoy the convivial atmosphere, yet still chat between ourselves and dine without intrusion.

The menu was clearly presented and offered a wonderful selection of traditional and freshly prepared Argentinean dishes, all cooked on site by the dedicated kitchen team. I opted for a starter of crispy aubergine with creamy melted goat's cheese, while my husband enjoyed the grilled Provolone, served with juicy slow-cooked tomatoes and oregano - a delicious Argentinean speciality. Buenos Aires is famed across the country for its superior Argentinean steaks and as such offers guests steak samplers, enabling diners to try a few different cuts. We opted for the rib-eye and enjoyed beautifully tender meat that tasted incredible both with blue cheese and with the peppercorn sauce - these steaks are worthy of their reputation. For dessert I indulged in a serving of pancakes filled with a silky smooth caramel sauce, while my companion tucked into the creme caramel. It was a deliciously sweet end to an excellent meal.

A great atmosphere and well-prepared food makes Buenos Aires well worth a visit for an authentic Argentinean dining experience
