The Leconfield, home of Paul and Cheryl Judge since spring 2004, is nestled in the St Boniface Downs, some 400 feet above the quiet beach of Monks Bay and the historic village of Bonchurch. The unique location means there are stunning views to be enjoyed from all areas of the interior, whether you choose to have a pre-dinner drink in the garden - selecting from the traditional yet uncomplicated menu - or relax in the conservatory lounges over coffee and liqueurs.

Boasting all the creature comforts of a first-class hotel, The Leconfield is nevertheless run with a warm and welcoming ethos. Paul and Cheryl see guests as friends staying (or dining) in their home. Imaginative dishes, using mostly Island produce, are cooked with care and attention, demonstrating their award-winning AA-rosette standards. A well-stocked bar offers an interesting wine selection featuring wines from various parts of the world.

Staying at The Leconfield will be the cream on the cake of your dining experience. Many of the rooms are sea-facing and all have been refurbished to an immaculate standard. Perhaps enjoy the luxury of the Captain's Bridge or the Admiral Suite, both of which have a large, private first-floor terrace turning the already stunning view into a 180-degree uninterrupted seascape. The hotel facilities and dining experience have been designed exclusively for adults (over 16s), which means your only distraction will be the tranquil shipping movement of the English Channel
