Inn on the Beach
Pubs and Bars with Restaurants
Inn on the Beach is situated in an iconic building that was once home to the lifeboat station. It fell into disrepair and was almost demolished until the current proprietors took over in 2008 and fully refurbished it, creating the stylish and flourishing destination venue it is today, comprising a Champagne and oyster bar, a conservatory, a restaurant and a suntrap terrace. Those stopping by for lunch can tuck into a gourmet sandwich, while those after a three-course feast will also do well here - perhaps begin with a baked Camembert for two, and continue with homemade pie of the day, oven-baked cod fillet with a cheese and bacon crust or the mixed seafood risotto. With sumptuous food and spectacular views across the Solent, eating out surely doesn't get better than this.
