The Foresters Arms Inn
Following an extensive renovation, The Foresters Arms Inn is flourishing under the expert management of new owner David Gordon-Smith. Nestled in the picturesque village of Graffham, this quaint country pub is the perfect location for a quick tipple, an evening meal, or even a stay in one of the three beautiful bedrooms.
The food is a mixture of old classics and fresh new ideas. We started with exquisitely juicy pan-fried scallops with chorizo and roasted cauliflower sauce, and mouth-watering hand-picked wild mushrooms on toast. Tantalising mains include fish and chips, burgers, and delicious pork belly with mashed potato, chorizo and honey and ginger sauce. We opted to sample creamy and flavoursome crab risotto and a tremendously succulent sirloin steak. From the fine selection of wine, ale, lager and soft drinks, we selected a glass of chenin blanc and a refreshing pint of Cherokee beer to accompany our meal. The evening culminated in a superb choice of desserts; we sampled an old favourite – the sticky toffee pudding, and an interesting twist on a popular classic – lemon, ginger and thyme brûlée. The combination of friendly, accommodating staff, excellent food and all the charm of a traditional pub ensured a truly pleasurable dining experience.
