Ye Olde Yew Tree Inn
Pubs and Bars with Restaurants

Established in the idyllic village of Westbere since 1350, this is one of the oldest pubs in Kent. It is highly rated on TripAdvisor, and was recently voted by the Guardian as one of top 50 places in the UK for Sunday lunch. It’s a cosy place in winter with its large inglenook fire and beamed interior. In the summer the beer garden is a peaceful place, as there’s no traffic for miles around. The menu is varied, with favourites including beef brisket with Dauphinoise potato, homecured Scandinavian fish platter, and a squash, aubergine and lentil bake. Events include a pie and pint for £10 on Thursdays, quiz night on the first Wednesday of the month, and open mic on the last Wednesday of the month. So, whether you’re looking for an informal lunch, a beautiful place for a family gathering, or even somewhere for a wedding reception, Ye Olde Yew Tree Inn will cater to your needs.
