Foodilic serves healthy, nutritious meals at its two popular Brighton restaurants. We visited the Foodilic on Western Road, just down from Churchill Square, which offers a range of delicious main meals, including tasty vegetarian options, homemade feuilleté pastries and a superb selection of all-day breakfast options, including a smoked haddock kedgeree. I enjoyed an absolutely delicious vegetarian moussaka served with beetroot and sweet potato, and was impressed with how satisfying it was. I was tempted to pick up a takeaway order of the Portobello mushrooms for later - this baked dish, stuffed with feta cheese, baby spinach, pine nuts and garlic, sounded wonderful. My order was accompanied by a refreshingly cool glass of homemade lemonade. Head chef Osman takes great care with the presentation of every dish, putting together a colourful work of art on every plate.

As well as being spotlessly clean, Foodilic boasts stylish decor with stunning rustic wooden furniture and chalkboard displays. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxing, with the peaceful sound of an acoustic guitar playing in the background. Serving wholesome food at remarkably reasonable prices, Foodilic is the perfect choice for casual dining in Brighton, and is equally well-suited for a lunch with friends or intimate evening meal
