The Meeting Place Café

The Meeting Place Café

0.5 miles
Kings Road, Brighton, BN3 2WN

The Meeting Place is a charming open-air, seafront café with a patio directly overlooking the beaches of Brighton and Hove. It’s only 300 yards from the site of the spectacular Brighton i360, and its location on the Brighton and Hove boundary means that you can buy your food and drinks in one town and sit down to eat them in the other.

There’s room for around 150 people in the outdoor seating area, and there are windbreakers to shelter diners from the coastal breeze. The whole family is made to feel welcome, including your four-legged friends, who will find water bowls and dog biscuits – nobody has to miss out at The Meeting Place.

The café serves straightforward quality fare including sandwiches, fish and chips, salads and jacket potatoes, as well as homemade specialities including macaroni cheese, spicy chilli and lasagne, among others. You can grab an early-morning hot drink on the go or sit down to a full meat or vegetarian breakfast at any time of day. Make sure you try one of the café’s gorgeous ice creams – they’re the perfect way to round off a seaside feast.
