2 Gardner Street, Brighton, BN1 1UP

Located in Brighton’s famous North Laine, just five minutes from Brighton train station and surrounded by independent shops, cafés and entertainment venues, you’ll find Gelato Gusto. Since opening in 2012, this premium gelateria has made its mark on Brighton’s foodie scene, serving up a variety of mouth-watering gelato treats alongside some of the best coffee in town.

Delicious gelato is made fresh each day above the shop in small batches using milk and cream from a local Sussex dairy. Gelato-lovers are spoilt for choice thanks to the 30 constantly changing flavours available. Flavours range from Ecuadorian dark chocolate to amaretto and marmalade swirls, while popular sorbetto flavours include Alphonso mango and lychee and rose. The pink grapefruit sorbetto is simply divine, and was nominated for a Great Taste Golden Fork award for London and the South East. There’s also a range of dairy-free and vegan gelato made using a variety of soya, nut and coconut milk. For a more indulgent treat, try a freshly made crêpe, waffle, or a gelato burger comprising a hot brioche bun with gelato sealed inside to keep it frozen. Alternatively, opt for a classic dessert such as Knickerbocker Glory or hot fudge sundae. If you feel like truly indulging, try a Freakshake: a decadent milkshake made with gelato and topped with whipped cream and a choice of biscuits, brownies, sweets or pretzels. Gelato Gusto’s place in the Great Taste Awards 2017 Top 50 Producers is testament to the exceptional quality of the treats served here.
