Eastwell Manor, Boughton Lees, Nr. Ashford, TN25 4HR
Eastwell Manor is a four-AA-red-star country house hotel set in the heart of the Kent countryside. The Manor Restaurant is located in a delightful oak-panelled room, with a huge open fireplace, overlooking the gardens and has been voted the fifth most romantic restaurant in the UK by The Times. The grand piano provides a wonderful ambience for diners during lunch and dinner every day.

Head chef Gareth Attwell is passionate about the dishes he produces; his menus change to reflect the best produce available. Gareth uses as much fresh local produce as he can and much of the game, such as pheasant and partridge, is sourced from the Eastwell Manor Estate. Popular dishes include roasted loin of Godmersham venison and honey-and-five-spice-glazed breast of mallard. Desserts include dark chocolate pavé with honeycomb and Horlicks ice cream and iced peanut parfait with peanut crumble, raspberry sorbet and peanut brittle. The wine list is extensive, with wines from every corner of the world.

The Manor Restaurant is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A full English or Continental breakfast is offered to both residents and non-residents. For lunch and dinner there is a set-price table d'hote menu and an à la carte menu. Afternoon tea is served in the lounge and, weather permitting, the courtyard
