Bistrot Pierre - Stockton Heath
The Bistrot Pierre brand is renowned for its French-style cuisine and relaxed restaurants. Each of the friendly bistrots is suitable for all manner of occasions and Cheshire is lucky to boast not just one but two Bistrot Pierre restaurants – one in a leafy suburb in Warrington and the other located in the Stamford Quarter of Altrincham. The latter is spread across two floors and has room for 170 diners as well as a bar area and outside seating. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the place with light, and the Warrington venue’s French-inspired interior echoes the brand’s roots.
The menus have been expertly crafted to ensure they cover all bases. Whether stopping by for a laid-back breakfast, a light lunch or tempting three-course feast, your food will arrive beautifully presented, freshly prepared and of the highest standard. The culinary line-up showcases French bistrot classics like steak frites and boeuf Bourguignon alongside a host of regional favourites. Don’t miss the eminently popular prix-fi xe lunch menu offering of two courses for £12.95 and three for just £14.95.
Inspired by travels around France, the evening menu includes starters of crispy breaded Brie and homemade chicken liver parfait with toasted sourdough and red onion confi ture. For the main event, why not go for honey-glazed pork medallions or the oven-roasted half chicken with your choice of marinade and side. Lighter dishes include Vietnamese crispy beef salad with soy, chilli, ginger, coriander and sesame seeds. Desserts are the pièce de résistance and include traditional crêpes and classic crème brûlée.
As you’d expect from a French eatery, a glance at the distinctive wine list reveals a fantastic selection, with an offering to complement any dish. Whatever you opt for, you’re bound to find something delicious to pair with your meal. With plenty of vegetarian and vegan options alongside gluten-free dishes and a dedicated children’s menu, a friendly welcome is extended to everyone at Bistrot Pierre.
