Pubs and Bars with Restaurants
Cosy Clubs can be found in stylish locations across the South West, including Bath, Taunton and Salisbury. The sites embrace Cosy Club’s unique cosy-chic style, which combines grandeur with comfort. The central Bath site has a stunning balcony and terrace overlooking SouthGate Place, making it the place to be for al fresco dining. The Taunton site is situated in the impressive former Victorian arts college, but the interior oozes understated charm with exposed brick walls, wooden tables and an on-trend industrial feel. In the open-plan main trading area you can find velvet pouffes, chandeliers and plush sofas – there’s even an Art Deco-inspired snug in the bar area. The Salisbury site is housed in a Grade II listed former arts college that boasts an open-plan bar area, secluded terrace and an airy dining room with eclectic lighting and oak panels. Cosy Club’s extended food service hours mean that it’s a venue for everybody and every occasion, whether you’re looking for brunch to cure a hangover, a suitable establishment for a business lunch or somewhere for a meal out with friends.
You might want to start with a selection of tapas for two, or sample the chorizo and squid salad starter – the lightness of the fish perfectly complements the full-flavoured pork. The slow-roasted pork belly main with crackling, mash, pea purée, braised shallots, pea shoots and soy gravy is a customer favourite, or you could opt for a tried-and- tested classic such as game stew served with champ mash. Desserts include salted caramel cheesecake served with sweet and salty popcorn and the seriously indulgent chocolate and hazelnut mini doughnuts with butterscotch sauce.
Whether you’re dining or not, the award-winning drinks selection at Cosy Club isn’t to be missed. Designated drivers have plenty to choose from, including the refreshing Cooling Lemonade made with freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar syrup, mint and cucumber. From the cocktail menu, the Hisbiscus and Elderflower Cosmo is a floral delight, but it’s the Rum Espresso Martini that turns the most heads.
From Monday to Friday you can nab any two of the exquisite cocktails for £9.50 between 4pm and 7pm, making Cosy Club the perfect place to meet up after work.
