As one of Manchester's best independent restaurants, TNQ Restaurant and Bar has stood the test of time since opening nine years ago. Located in the heart of the Northern Quarter neighbourhood, TNQ sets its standard by creating seasonal, gourmet dishes and homemade desserts using the finest ingredients the North West and the rest of the British Isles have to offer.

Head chef, Anthony Fielden, has developed a prolific portfolio of experience at some of Manchester's finest restaurants, and has now put TNQ firmly on the map. A prime example is the Barry Pugh's suckling pig with Bury black pudding jus. As one of the menu's most popular dishes, it exemplifies the quality sourcing of ingredients - a rare speciality worth seeking out when choosing where to eat. A unique and diverse wine list marries well with the seasonally changing menus, giving customers the finest quality and experience all year round.

TNQ showcases a true taste of Manchester, offering honest 'Northern soul' food, superb wines and friendly service. Originally a storage warehouse for the old Smithfield fish markets, TNQ is now a humble modern dining room with rustic wooden fl oors and fl oor-to-ceiling windows. The latter affords guests a view of one of Manchester's most popular architectural features: the original Smithfield market facade.

TNQ is within walking distance of both Victoria and Piccadilly railway stations and is a three-minute walk from Shudehill tram station
