With a menu covering a wide range of cuisine - from traditional Jewish to modern British and Middle Eastern - the JS experience comes highly recommended. Manager Michael greeted us cordially and took the time to explain some of the dishes to us. To start, we sampled the traditionally prepared chopped liver and delicious chicken broth with dumplings. Next, we opted for chicken schnitzel and hot salt beef with traditional side orders, all full of flavour and well presented. There is an excellent-value lunch and early bird menu, priced at £12.95 for two courses, and an impressive, weekly changing chef's special set menu with two courses for £19.95. As well as providing kosher meals to several leading Manchester hotels, JS Restaurant has a separate takeaway menu and a function room which is ideal for parties of up to 50 people. This is an exciting venue for both Jewish and non-Jewish diners.
