The Brewery Tap Bar and Restaurant
The Brewery Tap Bar and Restaurant is a place to sample some of the finest ale, wine and lager informed by hundreds of years of brewing history. Adjoining The National Brewery Centre and accessible without an entrance ticket to the centre, The Brewery Tap draws on the museum’s wisdom, offering a range of cask ales brewed on-site by the Heritage Brewing Company.
The beer isn’t the only thing that draws on the museum’s rich history. The Brewery Tap Restaurant serves an imaginative lunch and dinner menu that celebrate the venue’s age-old traditions, with choices such as the dray horse lunch prepared with local cheeses and Melton Mowbray pork pie, beer-battered fish and chips, and ribs in a sticky beer barbecue sauce. On a Sunday, guests can treat the family to a selection of hand-carved, locally reared meats, served with crispy roast potatoes and fine garden vegetables – priced at only £7.25 per adult. Children will relish the small carvery plate followed by ice cream, for just £5.95.
The Brewery Tap Bar and Restaurant is a great venue for both group bookings and larger parties, with a mezzanine level overlooking the main restaurant, and a conservatory overlooking the picturesque gardens. Offering unique menus for holidays, celebrations and special occasions, this is a venue with masses to offer throughout the year.
