Imagine dreamy nights in Lombardy or Tuscany, imagine the best in rustic Italian food, imagine sipping your favourite vini bianchi or rossi. Wake up - you're in stylish Richmond, in the contemporary surroundings that diners here have been lapping up since the doors of Strada proudly opened.

The authentic menu includes hand-made pastas with fresh sauces, risottos, grilled meat and fish dishes, and original Italian desserts. Particularly popular are the risotto con zucca e pancetta made with thyme roasted butternut squash, chilli, smoked pancetta bacon, finished with parmesan, baby spinach and toasted pinenuts; tonno nizzarda - seared yellow fin tuna (served medium) with a cannellini bean, rocket, red onion, cherry tomato, cucumber and green bean salad and bistecca di manzo - 12oz chargrilled rib-eye steak served with roasted cubetti potatoes and a rocket and Parmesan salad.

Pizzas are an integral part of Strada's offerings, with favourites such as piccante - spicy southern Italian salami, red onions, olives, rocket, tomato and mozzarella or a vegetarian option of caprino - goat's cheese, mozzarella, tomato, oven roasted Mediterranean vegetables, fresh basil, red onion and olives.

Wash it all down with one of Strada's specially selected regional Italian wines, beers or spirits. Buona salute!
