The Prince's Head
Pubs and Bars with Restaurants
Situated on the edge of Richmond Green, The Prince’s Head is the perfect place to watch the cricket in summer, and is the chosen meeting place of many keen cricketers. The historic building has stood proudly in its current spot for 300 years and has functioned as a popular local pub for much of that time. Since becoming a Fuller’s pub it has been known for its exceptional cask-conditioned ale and hearty seasonal fare. For a refreshing change, sample a perfect ale like Oliver’s Island, or Fuller’s Session I.P.A. from the award-winning cellar. If you’re feeling peckish, tuck into a hearty plate of sage-stuffed pork loin with Cornish Orchards cider sauce and mustard mashed potato. For a tasty vegetarian alternative, why not sample rigatoni in tomato, spinach and rosemary sauce, adorned with chilli breadcrumbs? Don’t forget to check out the puddings – the strawberry Eton Mess is rightly renowned, and the apple, almond and rhubarb crumble is exceptional.
