Located next to Kew Green, Kew Grill is an example of how to blend stunning food, warm service and a relaxed ambience to create a winning experience. Owned by Antony Worrall Thompson and David Wilby, Kew Grill prides itself on being refreshingly fuss-free. This is reflected in the menu, which boasts classic dishes and a mouth-watering grill selection.

On our visit, we were delighted with starters of chilli-salt squid with spring onions and expertly cooked devilled lamb's kidneys on baked field mushrooms. A main course of rib-eye steak melted in the mouth, the accompanying peppercorn sauce providing a welcome kick of gentle heat. The pork tasting plate was a feast for lovers of all things porcine. Porchetta, belly, bacon, sausage, black pudding, sage and onion stuffing and sweet apple chilli jelly made up the platter, each cut showcasing its own unique flavour. For dessert, a decidedly decadent chocolate brownie was just
the right side of sweet. Wine lovers will be overjoyed by the selection, with manager Antonio available to steer you in the right direction. A set lunch menu is also available, representing incredible value. Lovers of a classic Sunday roast can't go wrong with Kew Grill's version, followed by a visit to nearby Kew Gardens - perfect
