On this charming Clapham street you'll find The Rapscallion. A smart venue just opposite the local picture house, The Rapscallion is ideal for a bite to eat before or after catching a movie and serves a good range of drinks too.

If you're up with the lark, treat yourself to a full English, eggs Benedict or cinnamon French toast with blueberries, raspberries, banana, grilled bacon and crème fraîche - simply divine. The diverse dinner menu is a melting pot of influences - perhaps you'll pick West Mersea rock oysters with red onion and chilli vinaigrette, or fresh lobster spaghetti with tomato and chilli. Seafood is conscientiously selected from Billingsgate and market suppliers in Newlyn, and includes Shetland mussels and Orkney razor clams, while chicken is free-range and meat is ethically sourced and of the highest quality. Try the braised Old Spot pork belly with shallot purée, aubergine caviar, salsify and honey sauce, or, one of several East Asian-influenced dishes.

If you're out for the evening, kick things off with a draught beer, lager, spirit or a refreshing cocktail. Choose from a selection including coconut water Daiquiri, pomegranate Cosmopolitan, Scottish Sour and Socialite - vanilla Stolichnaya vodka, limoncello, fresh lemon, vanilla syrup and mango. Otherwise, there's plenty of artisan coffee on offer - great for the morning after.
