Proudly situated just opposite Hyde Park, this historic pub dates back several centuries and was originally a popular coaching inn. It was refurbished last year in an artistic, chic style designed to represent the various manifestations of the park – think a tasteful colour palette, murals painted on the walls and floral printed chairs. You’ll also find photographs of concerts and women’s rights rallies that have taken place in the park over the years. This eatery offers the best of classic pub fare, including fish and chips and a tempting beefburger. These are offset by a number of tasty signature dishes like tofu pad Thai with bean sprouts and coriander, and butternut squash and feta Wellington with mixed leaves. The Swan’s well-stocked bar has an excellent array of real ale and lager, New and Old World wine, and a broad range of spirits. With over 30 types of gin behind the bar, you’ll never be short of a new tipple to try.
