Bufala di Londra
Bufala di Londra’s hand-crafted artisan Neapolitan pizza is among the best in the capital. Charming co-owners Mustafa and Ingrid developed their sourdough recipe over an entire year; 365 test doughs later, the result is divine. I chose the n’duja pizza and my partner the marinara, topped with garlic, oregano and fresh basil. Both wowed – filling yet with a light base, these reasonably priced pizzas trump any chain pizza you might find nearby. Freshness and authenticity is Bufala di Londra’s philosophy, and it shows. The cured meats are specially prepared by an artisan company in Italy; the cheese is delivered from Naples twice a week – every ingredient has a story. Our decadently creamy burrata starter, served with freshly baked bread, rocket and organic olive oil, was a treat. Foamy and smooth Delira craft beer complemented our pizzas well, while high-calibre hazelnut and pistachio gelato wrapped up this delightful meal.
