The Hand & Flower
Dating back to the Victorian era, this elegant pub and hotel is a longstanding fixture of buzzing Hammersmith. The historic establishment has a long and colourful past, having been opened in 1822 by Edwin Hand – a notorious figure in the infamous Quality Street gang. Today’s visitors will find The Hand & Flower a delightful place in which to while away the hours with a pint of Fuller’s cask-conditioned ale and a bite to eat from the tempting bill of fare. The ever-changing menu may feature starters such as the flavoursome goat’s cheese and walnut salad with chargrilled squash, or Fuller’s London Porter-smoked salmon with celeriac remoulade and sourdough toast. Follow with a hearty portion of vegan chilli with basmati rice and fresh guacamole, and round things off with one of the sumptuous puddings like apple and blackberry crumble with crème anglaise.
