The Duke of Kent
Stood proudly on the corner of Scotch Common, you’ll find The Duke of Kent with its impressive offering of seasonal fare, made using locally sourced produce where possible. Head chef Adrian Sereteanu prides himself on his creative à la carte and fixed-price menus, which are rooted in British tradition but draw inspiration from other cuisines including Moroccan and Mediterranean elements. Social sharing plates such as Yassa-spiced chicken thigh with tzatziki and salt and pepper squid are a great way to explore a selection of the chef’s specialities and provide the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine or Prosecco. Crowd-pleasing mains such as pan-roasted lamb rump, new potatoes, green bean and chorizo fricassee with minted sour cream are always a treat. The large garden with its spacious dining terrace and children’s play area is the perfect spot for relaxed al fresco dining in the summer months.
